Morning jog

The vet said Houdini's stomach was too big and that he needed exercise. So I have been taking him for daily jogs every morning. So the first day I took Houdini out for his run, we went past my neighbor and his wife who were picking olives. I smiled and waved at them as I jogged by and joked, "Just taking my dog for a run." The lady's jaw dropped and she just stared at us, expressionless. As I passed, she turned to her husband and said, "Mohammad, go talk to the foreigner. Someone sold him a broken donkey and told him it was a dog."

Freedom

This is why Houdini keeps escaping. He hates being confined by humans. After what he's been through, I think he dreams of just being left alone in an open space.

Houdini found his princess...who bolted at full speed shortly thereafter.
